Operations Associate
Position Overview:
As the Operations Associate at MIBA, you will work closely with the Operations Directors to strategize, plan, and execute a diverse range of events aimed at enhancing the professional development and intercultural competency of MIB students at UTSC. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless execution of key initiatives such as the Eclipse Case Competition, Associates' Event, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Play a crucial role in the coordination of various MIBA events, ensuring that events run smoothly.
Logistics: Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, A/V support, catering, and contacting vendors while also monitoring event budgets.
Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing materials, including event flyers, social media campaigns, and email communications, all designed to effectively promote MIBA events.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Foster seamless teamwork by working closely with associates, other directors, VPs, and the President to ensure that events receive comprehensive cross-departmental support and alignment.

Marketing Associate
Position Overview:
As the Marketing Associate at MIBA, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and promoting the MIBA brand within the UTSC community and to the organization’s internal and external stakeholders. Leveraging your creativity and design skills, you will develop promotional content to generate student interest in MIBA events and initiatives. Additionally, you will manage the MIBA website and social media platforms to provide valuable resources to fellow students while continuously updating their design and content.
Key Responsibilities:

Work with the Marketing team to create deliverables on time, supporting the MIBA team and initiatives.

Assist in the creation and implementation of a branding and design strategy for the 2024/25 year, relating to all events.

Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional material by generating ideas and creating content using Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Wix, etc.

Track and measure social media analytics and engagement impacts as they relate to MIBA and the Management community.

Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation and protect and develop MIBA’s brand
Qualifications and Competencies:

Command in Canva, Wix, and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator can be considered an asset.

Internal Strategy Associate
Position Overview:
As the Internal Strategy Associate at MIBA, you play a crucial role in supporting the Internal Strategy Directors, overseeing key aspects of Human Resources and Business Development. Your responsibilities include organizing team socials, collaborating on business case development, and serving as a liaison between the MIB community and the Department of Management to enhance the student experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the internal strategy team to research, develop, and create cases for Eclipse Case Conference.

Plan and execute MIBA team socials to connect departments in an informal manner.

Act as a liaison between the MIB community and Management community, and the Department of Management.
Qualifications and Competencies:

Command in Google Suite, MS Office is an asset.

A high degree of interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities and strategies.

External Relations Associate
Position Overview:
As the External Relations Associate at MIBA, you will play a crucial role in connecting our university club with individuals from some of the world's leading companies. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate and maintain valuable connections that contribute to our team’s mission of bringing people together and fostering connections to drive our club's success. Serving as the bridge between our club and external stakeholders, you will leverage these connections to support our signature events such as Eclipse, MIB Alumni Night, and our exclusive Associates' Event.

Finance Associate
Position Overview:
As the Finance Associate, you will work closely with the Director of Finance to manage MIBA's financial operations effectively. Your main responsibility will be to assist in handling the submission of documents and estimating financial needs for the club's functioning. This includes communicating with the Department of Management regarding funding, estimating budgets for events, providing marketing-related budgets, and clarifying financial requirements with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage MIBA’s financial statements, annual budget, and cash flow

Monitor the incoming and outgoing cash flow of each event and ensure all expenses are reimbursed in a timely manner.

Ensure all expenses and revenues are documented for future reference.
